Designed with precision and durability in mind, our robot combines custom CNC components with advanced sensor integration.
Drive Train
A high-performance 2-wheel drive system powered by 2 Yellow Jacket motors, utilizing a custom chain tensioning system for maximum torque transfer and minimal slippage. Designed for agility and precision on the field.
Mechanisms
Shooter: A dual-stage system featuring a high-speed flywheel and an adjustable turret mechanism. Capable of shooting from multiple angles with a near-perfect trajectory calculation for consistent scoring.
Hardware: Constructed with a hybrid of GoBilda structural channels and custom CNC-machined aluminum plates. 3D printed parts (PETG/TPU) are used for specialized intake geometries and vibration dampening.
Software & Control
Written in Java, our codebase features custom PID control loops for precise movement, computer vision pipelines for game element detection, and a modular command-based architecture for easy debugging and iteration.
CAD: Fully modeled in Onshape and AutoCAD. We utilize iteratiave design with over 50+ revisions, simulating physics and fit before fabrication to ensure zero waste and perfect integration.
